AFAIK there is no particular changes in MI SCSI between 3.0 and 4.0.

Umm, "makedev mouse" should be removed from etc/etc.pmax/MAKEDEV.conf.

BTW, even on 3.x, the Xserver should work with the WSCONS
(not GENERIC) kernel.
