Simon, My dec does not have any working OS on it :-( so the second option will not work.

I haven't tried the netboot method as yet. I guess I have to use it if the diskimage method does not work. I'd prefer to get the diskimage working. :-)

I hope you have more success than I did.

My pmaxen have been turned off for a few days.  I'll fire one up
tomorrow and test out the diskimage there.  As to helping you on your
way, can you netboot?  Also, if you have a Ultrix setup you should be
able to copy the install.ecoff kernel to the root directory of your
Ultrix filesystem and boot with

	>> boot 3/rz0/install.ecoff
