  It means that the Ultrix boot loader doesn't understand ELF files.
Ultrix uses ECOFF, so you need pmax/binary/kernel/install.ecoff.gz.
The pmax/binary/kernel/install.gz kernel is for booting from an existing
NetBSD system.
