The external loopback test on your network interconnect (NI is
DEC-speak for LAN) didn't work. The diagnostic suggests a cable
problem.  Those little green-eyed AUI loopback plugs usually work.
This one is safe to ignore, if (mmm, as you say later) the AUI port is
not connected to anything.

A test on the 85c30 scc serial chip read back 0x20 when it expected
0x00. Perhaps your modem isn't sending the control signals which the
PROM expects. Again, probably safe to ignore, especially if it goes
away when you remove the serial device and rerun test 3/scc.
