The total size of the filesystem isn't an issue - just whether or not
the blocks for the root directory, /boot.pmax, the kernel and the inodes
for these all fall below a certian value.  This may not be too much of
an issue on a new filesystem where stuff may tend towards the start of
the disk, but latter in the filesystem's life things could be different.
