That did the trick!!! Off all the units i could choose of... this seemed
just the one with the switch off ! 

Switching it on... make it netboot! :-)) now... i have to compile a kernel
WITHOUT scsi... the current ones do spin up the drive, and i don't want to
remove the driver entirely... just in case...
