On aother end of spectrum, COMPAT_IRIX.  The issue would be which
version of IRIX should be emulated.  Our site has whole generations of
SGI produces, and have been suffered by incompatibilties which each
new IRIXs brought.  (No, I'm not interested in NetBSD/sgi, other guys
will do)
