hmm..nope. it's saying rcons is unknown as well...i think it used to work
when i had 1.3.1 installed, but not now that i put 1.4.1 on.
any other ideas?

this is happening when im trying to log in at the terminal, not for remote
sessions or anything.

I think "rcons" is what you want.
