I don't know how it relates, but my 5000/200 is showing problems with the scsi 
controller using snapshot 1.4.1 binaries on one of your kernels from the 1.4px 
directory, which I had to use because of the installed graphics (PMAG-E) and 
no serial port in reach.

dmesg looks like it is made from 1.4:
