I'm trying to compile ssh (1.2.26 and/or 1.2.27) in NetBSD-1.4, but i keep
getting the following errors:


/usr/bin/ld: mpn_XXXX.o: linking PIC files with non-PIC files
Bad value: failed to merge target data of file gmp-2.0.2-ssh-2/libgmp.a
(mnp_XXXX.o)
...
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error code 1



It worked fine in 1.3.3...
