>From a quick glance, that kernel only supports 5000/xx machines.  Stuff
in the pub/NetBSD/arch directories is typically not really general
purpose.  You probably want to try:

	pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.3.3/pmax/binary/kernel/nfsnetbsd.ecoff.gz

after uncompressing it of course.
