Is it supposed to be possible to build the toolchain for NetBSD/pmax
from -current sources now, and if not, what sources should I use?

I tried after sup'ing the newest sources but several places it uses
mips-unknown-netbsd and (at least) config.bfd will complain; easiest
seen in
  /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/binutils/c++filt
but it will also create trouble other places.  I've tried just
replacing "unknown" with "dec" in various Makefiles and that seems
to work, but that can't be the right way...
