   it might be worth updating Perl's hints/netbsd.sh whenver that happens.


netbsd.sh should be updated so that netbsd 1.3C or whenever ld was
changed, and beyond, use the new ld flags exclusively.


or perhaps even can test the version of ld(1) and set things appropriately.
