This excerpt is from "Hardware Operator's Guide" for DECstation, Model 10=

series.

	Page 11-2, third paragraph:
	You enter console commands at the system console. If you
	connected only one monitor to your workstation, that monitor
	is your system console. If you connected multiple monitors,
	the monitor in the TURBOchannel option slot with the lowest
	number is the system console. If you connected a separate
	system console, such as a VT320, and you have typed `setenv
	console s`, that console is your system console.

I suppose you have to do something simular with your 5000/200.
