Top is tricky...a lot of the functionality it needs has changed
recently in -current.  I think some users were talking about this
recently on the netbsd-current list, you might check the archives to
see if anyone came up with a working port.

For tcsh and bash on NetBSD-pmax, the trick seems to be to configure
them to use the system's malloc() library instead of the ones provided
with those packages.  I can confirm that this works with bash from
personal experience.  Others have reported here that the same fix
works for tcsh.
