I've built a snapshot kernel with a possible fix, that may improve the
widely-reported problem of 3100s hanging during heavy disk acceses.

The new kernel is in
ftp.netbsd.org:~ftp/pub/NetBSD/arch/pmax/netbsd.generic. I've tried
out the same changes on a 5000/240 or 5000/200, and verified that they
don't break anything.

Could someone who *has* had problems with -current on a 3100 since
April please try it out, and let me know if it's better, worse, or no change.

thanks
