Jonathan, is there any reason why I can't adjust the config option
NKMEMCLUSTERS?
I looked at the include file and it appears to look to see if that variable
is defined.

I bumped it from 1024 to 2048 with the same result. I have maxusers set at
64. This
box is (or wants to be) an application server, an apache 1.2 web server.
The Ultrix box
I want it to replace (the machine I'm swapping it in for) gets a tremendous
amount of
hits, about a half million a day. So it needs to be tuned up pretty high
on the resource
side.

It has a 128Megs of ram so, there is plenty of memory for this. I'm about
to try setting
NKMEMCLUSTERS to 4096 and flip it into production and see how long it lives
with
that setting.

Bill
