I have the machine booting now, and after adding mount_ffs to /sbin
from the minoroot (why it isn't there already is beyond me) I can
mount root and nfs mount a remote host.

However, I cannot newfs or disklabel, and after about 5 minutes or so
the machine crashes with some rather nasty looking panic.

How stable is this port?  I seem to remember it being more stable about
a year ago, when I actually had a ds2100 running for several weeks
at a time.  :)

The machine in question is a DS5000/25 with 40M ram, color graphics,
and two scsi disks.
