I enabled debug for chat and here is what syslog sees.

First, the ppp connection is made to /dev/tty1

It then attempts to negotaite the remote and local IP addresses.

The messages are:

sent [IPCP ConfReq id=0x10 <addr 199.232.98.125 >]
rcvd [IPCP ConfNak id=0x10 <addr 199.232.98.125 >]

The id increments ut the same message appears many times until
the connection is dropped.

This was working before the official release. ANy hints on how
to get ppp working?

I am running on a 3MIN with a cfb. X,xdm, etc. all run nicely

Another problem is trying to run netstat which keeps complaining about
kvm_read
