On a kernel from (approx) June 27,  trying to run an Ultrix Emacs18
binary totally wedges my NetBSD/pmax machine.  I have to do a
hard reset to get it to reboot.

Has anyone else seen problems with Ultrix binaries?

There are several Decstations here still running Ultrix for
``production' use, and I nfs-mount a partition full of Ultrix
binaries.  They all used to run -- I still don't have a NetBSD
native groff,  emacs, or xterm!

(This makes it hard to do a send-pr, too.  I suppose I'll have to find
 another editor...)
