Brief one ...

What happens to the MIPS when it gets an exception?

Does it fall out of virtual memory mode, only needing to be put back in
by the exception handler, or does the exception simply switch VM
translation (swap TLB's).

The machines I've worked with previously have either

	a. been put into and then left in VM mode
or	b. never had VM turned off

I'm only looking for a brief yes/no/does-something-wierd type answer.

Looks like I'm going to have to add a MIPS reference manual to my library...
