I just read an article (http://www.execpc.com/~halkun/PS2) that tells that
the PS2 Linux uses some proprietary software interface to access the
hardware, and that this software interface (Runtime Environment, RTE) is
not available in source - sort of like OpenFirmware.

Does the NetBSD/playstation2 port use that same software interface
(RTE) as well?
