OK, one more question while I'm on the 'net tonight...

I have /dev/tty02 setup to have getty running, so I can dial in on
my modem, and I have my PPP scripts using /dev/cu02 to dial out.
Thanks to the new serial drivers, PPP can detect the modem carrier
and gets the hangup signal when it should. However, after PPP
disconnects I get a message grom getty about an interrupted system
call on /dev/tty02, and a while later (several minutes, but not
sure exactly how long) DTR gets asserted on the modem, so that it
will not take a call. (Actually, my Telebit picks up the phone,
then looks at DTR, drops the line like a rock before the telco
notices, and does the same thing on the next ring... 8)

Do I have getty configured wrong? PPP? the serial driver?
I do serial ports so often that I always forget what worked
before I need to do it again... 8(
