I'd just like to mention that the new snapshot seems to be
quite stable - I switched over yesterday and saw no trouble. My
emacs-19.22 and bash binaries were still running, but I rebuilt both
just to make certain. Actually, I built emacs-19.24, which only
requires a minor patch to ./configure and some modifications to
src/m/ns32000.h. After these changes, all I had to do was

	./configure ns32k-pc532-netbsd
	make
	make install

I'll post the modified ns32000.h if anybody is interested.

There was a note from cgd on current-users today that he had
been able to do a "make world" - hopefully this means that the sources
are starting to settle again.

	I have a fair number of QIC-150 tapes that I don't actually
need; once NetBSD-532 is ready for general release, I can write tapes
for those without internet access. The tapes are free, all you have to
pay is postage (but I'd like to limit this offer to something like 30
tapes. I'll eventually need some myself for my daily (yeah, right)
backups...)

Maybe it's time to do a poll on what people are working on,
and what needs doing - I guess the "quad" stuff, and the optimised
string functions are good examples of what I'm thinking of.
