Re: 44P-170

Here's a matched set of them, running fairly updated firmware:

7044-170, sh040616/SPH04194 with 768M memory:

Boots kernel but can't get serial console.  Is less picky about CD media.

7044-270, sh040616/SPH04194 with 15.25G memory:
pastebin.com/raw/2w0KrP8A
Hangs at bootloader, but no timeout error.  Is more picky about CD media.

The Model 170 is single-CPU and allows less memory, but otherwise they are
quite similar. From reading the ofppc source I would say there is a high
probability that both models are supported.

I doubt that. So your report would be quite valuable. Please tell us about
your experiences with it.

I'm running 7.0 on my Pegasos II, which is the only ofppc platform I have.
