Hello everyone

I've just scored a next cube that matches the
supported hardware specs now. It is a color machine
with a 21 inch monitor since I didn't see anything in
the support specs about this I assume this won't be an
issue. My questions are as follows. Since the Machine
comes with Nextstep 3.3 user and is very small I want
to perserve that so I'm swapping it for a 6GB scsi
drive and I want to place NetBSD on the system. Is the
only way to install this on a hard drive to
NetInstall?
or is there a way to build a boot floppy or something
to install the system from CD rom?

Also since it appears that you're working on SCSI
support does that mean that the hard drive in the
machine won't function?

I'm also interested in keeping the unigue nextstep
look and feel to the os so I plan on using Xwindows
and Afterstep or window maker as my widow manager is
that a realistic hope with this os?

I look forward to helping out in any way that I can. I
believe I'd like to write more documentation for the
os since that seems to be where my talents lie.

Chauncey Smith

Thanks in advance for all your help.
