hi,

all the next68k ELF work I did was using a x86->m68kelf cross-compiler
from the older version of the toolchain under src/gnu/dist
(ie. *not* under src/gnu/dist/toolchain).  I didn't use the pkgsrc stuff,
just built the cross toolchain myself.  I would hope that the newer
toolchain would work as a cross-compiler too, but I haven't tried it.
