Does the disk boot with the NetBSD GENERIC kernel installed?

There is a Jumper on the mvme167 which must be removed for NetBSD to boot
properly. The jumper nearest the top of the board, in the group of eight
jumpers known collectively as `J1' must be removed.

If you still can't make the system boot, you may have to re-install the
bootblocks (see the manual page for installboot(8)). How about trying to
netboot the machine?
