OK, so... "not so good"

Results from attempting to boot pmax iso on gxemul -e 3max:

- NetBSD-9.4 - boots just fine to installer
- NetBSD-10.1 - primary bootstrap loads then fails with "No ELF header"
- NetBSD-11_BETA - starts to load kernel then stops with "attempt to
execute a 64-bit instruction on an emulated 32-bit processor;
pc=0x80007f10"
- NetBSD-11.99.4 (HEAD) - same as NetBSD-11_BETA

So next steps:
1) Build a netbsd-10 kernel with macallan's patch - just so you can test boot
2) start a separate thread on bootabilty of pmax ISO images (probably
start by installing netbsd-9, then testing current kernels &
bootblocks on the disk image). I suspect a gcc update for the 11/HEAD
issues
