The furthest anyone has (recently) come along with a game console port
would probably be the NetBSD/sh3 port to the Dreamcast -- which is
actually an Hitachi sh4 -- http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/sh3/

Considering that the PS2 SDK, the DTL-T10000, is Linux based, it's not too
far-fetched that there could be a NetBSD port to this architecture some
day. Right now the SDK boxes are a bit cost prohibitive for an average
hobbyist to get hold of one. There are some mutterings that these may
eventually spawn some inexpensive workstations based on the Emotion Engine
but I doubt it'll happen any time real soon.

I personally find console unix ports interesting but not real useful until
they've got their own local storage. There are plenty of machines we can
NFS mount filesystems from but a local HD would be preferable.
