OpenBSD/arc supports this machine, in little endian mode.  I believe
there was a NetBSD port of the OpenBSD/arc stuff ready to commit, but
it has been a while since this was talked about so maybe it hit a
snag.  There was also talk of a 64bit port as well.  Maybe that was
the snag.
