NetBSD 1.3.x doesn't support multiprocessors at all, so if "MP" means
multiprocessor (i think it does), we could only support one CPU for
the immediate future.

Otherwise, if you can get programming details about how to handle the
MP-specific aspects, a port based on the extant ARC support should be
straightforward.  But since the ARC code isn't in the tree, It's in
the "send someone a box to bootstrap" category.

(PS: any changes in the status of NetBSD/arc support?)
