installboot and openfirmware 1.0.5

Hello,

Has anyone had success with installboot and openfimrware 1.0.5? I'm
trying to boot current off of sd0 in my powermac and haven't been able
to.

I don't have any Mac OS disks and just want to use one netbsd partion,
or even msdos and netbsd partions. If I'm understanding the macppc
INSTALL/partioning FAQ/installboot man page, disklabel and 'partion
zero' is the only way to boot of the hard disk with openfirmware
1.0.5?

I was able to netboot, and also booted off a iso9660 partion on sd0c
with the command:
  boot scsi/sd@0:0,OFWBOOT.XCF;1 NETBSD.;1

Current sysinst doesn't work either; I got this error in openfirmware
after partioning and installing:
 boot scsi/sd@0:0
 DEFAULT CATCH!, code=FFF00300

I haven't been able to boot off the hard disk with any ffs or msdos
partions with various incantations of disklabel/newfs/installboot.

My questions are with what (disklabel/pdisk/fdisk) and how (1 partion,
/dev/sd0a, partion a with no/63 offset) should I partion my disk, and
what openfirmware command can I use to boot? What is the installboot
command to use?

I think sysinst used
     /usr/sbin/installboot /dev/rsd0a /usr/mdec/bootxx /boot
installboot manpage says
    installboot /dev/rwd0c /usr/mdec/bootxx /ofwboot
and I've tried things like
    installboot /dev/rwd0a /usr/mdec/bootxx ofwboot

Thanks
