True. I should've added that this is the simplest way to do it if you 
want / to not be limited to 128 gigs in size. I ran into this problem with 
a first generation iMac G3 with a 750 gig hard drive - it worked great, 
but at some point when I upgraded the kernel and rebooted, the kernel 
ended up above the 128 gig boundary and the system wouldn't boot. Booting 
the kernel from the HFS volume at the beginning of the disk fixed that.
