Hi,

When booting GENERIC after running sysinst i get:

console keyboard type: unknown, assuming ADB

Then it fails to mount the root file system, and asks
what it should be ... now the almost-obvious part:

The USB keyboard doesn't appear to work.

Why does the INSTALL kernel work and not GENERIC?

This is 4.0, on a M5521.

BTW:
Random MacOS 9.2-based diag disk w/ Disk Utility
or whatever, hfsutils and target disk mode FTW. :)
