Jachym committed the more complete fix.  I recommend updating to
revision 1.7 of softintr.c when you have the opportunity, run
with that for a week or so, and let us know how it goes and with
which version of the kernel sources you're testing (head, 2.x,
3.x, or pre-4.x).
