Yup, right - it's GENERIC kernel, and has exactly 6882029 bytes. Is this 
a common problem? If it is, then perhaps putting a warning somewhere in 
the install guide is a good idea. I.e. "kernels over 5MB won't boot, 
don't even try".

I'm sure that I have one of those fancy HDI-30 cables, but finding 
PCMCIA-CF adapter seems easier for me. At least I know, that it's hiding 
somewhere in this room:).
