I am using a current kernel on which i have activated
ALTQ.

nm /netbsd | grep altq

confirms it with lot of output.
As a next step created the altq.conf file based on the
man page but when i issue altqd i get:

altqd: can't open altq device: No such file or
directory

ll /dev/altq

gives nothing.I tried to MAKEDEV all inside /dev and
MAKEDEV altq which failed saying

./MAKEDEV: altq: unknown device

so i have altq support in the kernel but no device!

Any way i could create the necessary altq entries
under /dev/altq ?

Regards
Andreas
