Official xorg lacks a couple things necessary to work properly on 
macppc - no idea about the pkgsrc version though. I have working 
binaries for -current but the radeon driver has some weird problems I 
can't fix right now ( seems to mis-probe some clocks - the image is 
unstable and full of noise )
I'm using an early 2004 iBook G4 btw.

For now I'd seriously recommend sticking to NetBSD's own XFree86, 
xrender acceleration works, the only drawback is that the console is 
messed up ( but usable ) when X exits. That happens with xorg as well.
