I get the same error with a 1st generation iMac. Firmware has been
updated, the CD is ok since it boots without problems on an S900 and an
iBook G4, the iMac's CDROM seems ok since it boots a MacOS 8.5 CD.=20
Something is wrong though, it doesn't boot my MacOS X CD either.
Time to play with System Disk and friends I guess.
