Traditionaly i have always kept a spare machine lying around, one that can
we used to format discs and such like. I have recently tried to reduce my
workspace clutter and i feel that this machine should be merged with
something like the backup file server, they both have low duty cycles and
dont require much hands-on administration.

I added an extra scsi card to the backup file server, with an gutted
external scsibox, to provide moldex and berg50 connectors. The only
problem i am now faced with is detecting the new hard drives as i add them
to this bus. The mounted disks will be the low numbered disks sd0..sd5 and
them the second scsi bus will be used for formatting and installing etc.

Im sure this has been addresses before, but if anyone knows where please
let me know.
