Hi, before writing to anyone who looks after netbsd.org (documentation section in particular)
I wanted to find out if I'm getting things wrong...
in http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/Hardware/Misc/serial.html under "Connector types and
pinouts" I see:
MiniDIN8 (male)
   8 7 6
  5 4 3
    2 1

then reading further uder "Note: Macintosh (mac68k and macppc)..." I see link to the site:
"Interfacing a Mac Serial Port to RS-232 Lab Equipment"
http://francis.courtois.free.fr/jc1/serial/main.html
And then under "Serial Connectors and Their Pinouts", "DIN-8 (Macintosh RS-422 serial port)"
http://francis.courtois.free.fr/jc1/serial/Basics/DIN8.html
Pinouts are:
MiniDIN8 (male)
   6 7 8
  3 4 5
    1 2

To make mini din8 cable for myself I read through "Interfacing a Mac Serial Port to RS-232 Lab
Equipment" page and it worked fine. I'm wondering if pinouts for mini din8 on netbsd.org needs to
be revised.
