This is annoying and embarrassing - I've just spent 2 hours attempting
to reproduce the problem on my machine that was seeing it 100% of the
time with a GENERIC kernel before, and I'm unable to do so.  I've tried
-current GENERIC, and 2.1_RC5 GENERIC, both from builds on
ftp.netbsd.org.  (I also did some builds myself, but I wanted to
eliminate something I may or may not have done to my tree.)

One thing that's unusual:  I was definitely seeing this on 2.0_STABLE
(when I was seeing it), and that branch does not have powersave enabled
for the 7450 family...
