I've gotten through the Open Firmware nonsense (8600 w/g3 upgrade), but
am having problems with the actual install. The .gz files all showed
up (on CD) as being corrupt (I'd be willing to believe it's the CD
drive, except it's always the same files), so I figured that I could
install via ftp. The problem is that the sysinst disk doesn't have a
rc.conf (a problem that appears to have been reported last November),
and thus I can't obtain IP info via DHCP. Is there a workaround, or a
newer version of the boot floppies?
