No, definitely not :) macppc's ofb driver just defaults to the ROM font whe=
n screen resolution is below 1024x768 ( something we should get rid of I th=
ink ). On the other hand it makes some sense since most Old World Macs have=
 braindead OpenFirmware that always starts in 640x480 ( and have no way to =
change that ), most newer Macs use whatever MacOS set up ( and have ways to=
 change resolution from OF )
