Considering the fact that GNU/Linux is the primary OS for these machines, 
I think that getting docs from IBM or even just from looking at the 
GNU/Linux code would be pretty straightforward.

I'd be willing to get in contact with people at IBM if you or someone else 
was willing to commit to working on that. I'd also make a G5 available to 
anyone for getting that supported, too...
