Hmm, is it just me or do newer kernels just hang when trying to mount /
? Happens with both GENERIC and customized kernels on my S900 which
happily runs a kernel built a bit more than a week ago ( scsibus at
mesh and so on ). Since there was some gcc appeasement to do I'm not
entirely sure it isn't my fault though. It doesn't happen on my sparc64
boxes and I didn't get around to try it on the iBook ( to see if it's
SCSI-specific ).
