hi,

good !!!!!!

after 9h of installing and probing i realized the NetBSD 1.6.2
(GENERIC) is the only one kernel that is not able to have kernel panic
with my hardware. I think there is something wrong with networkcard
handler about "3Com 3c900-COMBO Ethernet PCI".

Here netBSD 2.0.2 and 2.0.0 crash with kernel panic if you force
something a bit ...... while if you don't if you force something a bit
they have stalled networking, so uselless in both cases ........

the 1.6.2 is not able to crash : ) and has no stalled networking, it
works very good ! (and gcc 2.95 compile fine)
(i think i will use this kernel version, the only problem is the
documented slow console ...... really too slow, but we acn use the 4400
with ttyp0 ........ why to use the ttyE0 if it is so slow ?)

this is the hw about my machine
(normal install procedure, nothing modified)
