wonko@zaphod$ ls -l bash
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 504652 Oct 25 2004 bash
wonko@zaphod$ file bash
bash: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, PowerPC or cisco 4500, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
wonko@zaphod$ ./bash
./bash: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
wonko@zaphod$

am i doing something wrong?
