Sounds like a problem with the graphics board. Does MacOS work? If it does =
- did you try to update the firmware of the graphics board? If you didn't -=
 try it, maybe some part of the flash ROM got corrupted and updating fixes =
it. Do you have another graphics board at hand? If you do please try it. In=
 which slot is the graphics card? Sometimes OF is picky here - if it's in o=
ne of the lower 4 slots put it into one of the upper two ( or the other way=
 around ).

I have NetBSD 2.0 with a ( heavily patched ) -current kernel running on an =
S900 with a G3 and a PCI Voodoo3 graphics board. You'll definitely want to =
run a -current kernel, there were numerous crucial bugfixes and improvement=
s that didn't make it into 2.0
btw. mine came with a Matrox Millennium ;)
